Remake-Up by Ariane Thézé is a series of color photographs designed from a numerical structure of the face and body. These fictitious portraits are an extension of her approach based on the power of artifice. Arising from a process of “virtual surgery”, they lie on the border between truth and deception. It follows that the images are disturbing, mysterious, open to the imagination of the viewer.
