Skol est heureux d’accueillir L’UPop Montréal et SPiLL.PROpagation pour la présentation de quatre ateliers de découverte de la création narrative en Langues des Signes.

L’UPop a déjà présenté, il y a deux ans, un cours d’introduction générale à la culture Sourde, à son histoire et à sa présence à Montréal. Cette fois, elle va plus loin en se penchant sur l’une des formes d’art les plus originales qui en émerge. Si vous êtes intéressé.es par les arts visuels et que vous n’avez pas encore découvert la littérature crée dans les différentes Langues des Signes, vous serez impressionné.es par une littérature qui est aussi un art de la scène, en dialogue avec les arts picturaux et le cinéma.

Quatre ateliers d’exploration en création sont également prévus, pour personnes maîtrisant la LSQ ou l’ASL seulement.

Les ateliers sont donnés en français et en Langues des Signes par Daz Saunders et Julie Chateauvert.

Introduction to Narrative Creations in Sign Languages

Skol is happy to host ‘UPop Montréal and SPiLL.PROpagation for the presentation of four workshops.

Two years ago, UPop Montréal presented an introductory class about Deaf culture, its history and presence in Montreal. This winter, it goes further by focussing on one of the most original art forms that emerged from that class.

If you are interested in visual arts but have yet to discover literary creations in various Sign Languages, you will be impressed by this form of literature which is also a form of theatre in dialogue with pictorial arts and cinema.

Please note that the workshops will be given in French and in Sign Language.

The worshops are given by Daz Saunders and Julie Chateauvert.
