]]>It may still be sweltering outside, but the Belgo is slowly coming back to life after taking a summer break. Most galleries were closed during the months of July and August, and it’s been eerily quiet in the building. But all this week the smell of fresh paint is wafting through the air, and the sounds of drilling and hammering can be heard at all hours. The first exhibitions are opening this Saturday, with the majority of openings on September 12th.
Here is a list of what’s on offer in the galleries of the Belgo in the next few weeks:

The further chronicles of now
November 29, 2014 – January 17, 2015
Son of the 4th Baron Haden-Guest, inveterate clubber at Studio 54 in the 70â€s, friend of Andy Warhol, acquaintance with many contemporary artists like Damien Hirst, Anthony Haden-Guest is a well-known personality in the New York and British art scene. Born in Paris, he grew up in London and moved to New York in the late 70s.He is currently artist, curator, critic, poet, and performer.
For THE FURTHER CHRONICLES OF NOW, Anthony Haden-Guest reads to the public his darkly comic rhymes, some being about the art world, while his cartoons roll by on screen. His drawings depict caricatures of artists, collectors, art critics, as he spent his time in New Yorkâ€s art world.
